This is a reminder that at 2 AM Sunday, March 9, it magically becomes 3 AM. If you thought you had an eleven-hour break between Metal Machine Music and the Vesalius Quincentennial Tribute—wrong. Sleep fast.
At 8 PM, Bob Priest visits with host Andrew Hosch to discuss March Music Moderne and to play some of the music you will be hearing at the concerts. Tune in to 90.7 FM or stream it here.
March Music Moderne mourns the completely unexpected & premature passing of the master Flamenco guitarist, Paco de Lucia — one of the very greatest musicians of all-time.
In “homenaje” to what Paco’s art has meant to those of us in Global Village PDX & millions of other music lovers around the world for more than four decades, we lovingly dedicate MMM IV to his memory with gratitude & humility.
Vete con Dios, querido Paquito. ¡Gracias por tu Vida!
